Department of Education Tasmania

The Department of Education (DoE) provides educational services to students from birth. There is no defined age limit because we believe in and are responsible for educational services that enable all Tasmanians to learn, regardless of their age, their background or where they live.

We provide educational services through our 12 Child and Family Centres, Launching into Learning programs (babies to 4 year-olds and their families), primary, combined, secondary and senior secondary schools around the state, including education delivered flexibly or via blended learning. Family Day Care Association Queensland

Family Day Care Training Australia provides FDC-specific training and professional development for FDC educators and services. Maggie Dent is one of Australia's favourite parenting authors and educators and "Queen of Common Sense".

Maggie, who has become one of Australia's favourite parenting authors and educators, with a particular interest in the early years and resilience, will present a keynote address and two workshops at the conference. Maggie’s experience includes almost two decades as a secondary teacher before moving into counselling, palliative care and suicide prevention. Maggie is an advocate for the healthy, commonsense raising of children in order to strengthen families and communities, and is a passionate, positive voice for children of all ages.

Maggie is host of the ABC podcast, Parental As Anything. She is also a regular contributor to the Essential Kids website, can often be heard on commercial and ABC radio around the country and regularly seen lending her expertise to a range of national TV programs.

Miss Prince Publications

Author and illustrator Sarah Prince provides beautiful, fun, and educational books for young children. With a Masters of Early Childhood Education Specialising in Children's Literature, Sarah's books provide the perfect introduction to early literacy, numeracy, and the natural world, using a good deal of humour and just a touch of whimsy!

NSW Department of Education

The NSW Department of Education is a proud sponsor of the FDCA 2022 National Conference.

As the NSW Regulatory Authority for early childhood education and care services, the department monitors, supports and regulates more than 5800 early childhood education and outside school hours care services across NSW. The department is also responsible for implementing and administering state-based funding and strategic policy frameworks to continuously improve the quality of and access to early childhood education and care in NSW.

Wanslea
