Established in 2014, the ECA Learning Hub is highly regarded for its contemporary and evidence-based library of courses. Through FDCA’s Member Zone, you’ll gain access to a suite of more than 25 online courses housed on our brand-new, partnered Learning Hub as part of your existing membership.
The FDCA Learning Hub is exclusively available to FDCA members via the FDCA Member Zone.
FDCA members can access a range of video content, including past online forums, webinars, panels and other content such as Member Zone video guides. Access to these video resources is part of your FDCA membership and free of charge.

A Short Guide to Early Childhood Pedagogy and the accompanying Companion Resource will assist educational leaders, family day care coordinators and educators to promote and support a culture of professional enquiry, challenge the status quo and generate new thinking to support continuous improvement.

Visions for Quality: Reflecting on Practice is a resource that consists of 12 units which focuses on family day care educators’ work and how that work supports children’s learning. The overall aim is to promote good quality education and care services in family day care and in the sector as a whole, and to support services to comply with the National Quality Framework.
The Visions for Quality resource samples some – but not all - of the major components of good practice.

Working with children brings many intrinsic rewards, which keep family day care educators going ‘the extra mile’. Yet despite these joys and deep satisfactions, being a family day care educator is often physically, mentally and emotionally demanding. In recognition of this, Family Day Care Australia conducted a campaign called Your Wellbeing Matters – information and tips for family day care educators.
This resource has been developed as a place to share useful information, tips and resources to support educators’ personal wellbeing.
