As of 2 July 2018, under the Child Care Subsidy Minister's Rules 2017 (“the Minister's Rules”), and currently under the Education and Care Services National Regulations there are requirements for family day care providers and family day care educators in relation to Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Checks (NCCHC).
When a new educator completes a NCCHC with FDCA they will receive a $15 discount code for use when purchasing their start up insurance policy with FDCA.
FDCA members are eligible for a discounted NCCHC rates of $41.50 (inc. GST).
Educators
Educator members receive up to 4 discounted NCCHC per year to use for themselves and/or for adults residing in their homes that may require a check.
Services
Service members receive up to 20 discounted NCCHC per year to use for service management, staff, educators and/or for adults residing in an educator's home.
