Planning for wellbeing resource available to download - Be You

Be You has developed a Planning for Wellbeing: mine, yours, ours guide for early learning services, school age care services, and schools to guide ways of planning, learning and acting together for wellbeing.

Making time for mental health and wellbeing is an important part of developing and sustaining healthy communities. Using this resource, educators, coordinators and services can reflect on their practices and find new ways to make mental health and wellbeing a part of their everyday conversations.

This resource is available to download through the Be You website and can be used to:

  • grow your understanding of stress and mental health;
  • identify connections between stress, stress behaviour and the brain; and
  • experience how Be You’s mental health and wellbeing resources and the National Quality Standard can support and inform each other.

We encourage our members to download the resource here.

Final chance to have your say on vital research into family day care!

Access the survey here.

Whether you are an educator, coordination unit staff member or an approved provider, make sure your voice is heard in a significant new study exploring what leadership looks like in a family day care context.

This study is your chance to participate in vital research focusing specifically on the family day care sector and we strongly encourage all of our members to take part. The survey is quick and easy to complete and doesn’t require you to give your name.

The survey is closing at the end of January 2021, so make sure to get in quick.

To date, more than 500 approved providers, coordination staff and educators have completed the survey. We are very grateful for their time and effort in completing the survey.

What do I need to do to participate in the study?

Complete and submit the online survey. The survey asks questions about you, your work in family day care and your views and experiences of leadership within the sector and will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Remember to submit your answers at the final step!

We strongly encourage you to share the survey with other educators, service staff and approved providers across your network.
