Further funding support for NSW flood affected areas

The NSW Government has announced further financial relief for small business owners in NSW impacted by flooding across February and March 2022.

The Disaster Recovery Small Business Grant has been created for eligible small business owners in a defined disaster area to support the costs of clean-up and the reinstatement of business operations.

Funds of up to $15,000 will be provided to eligible, approved applicants based on quotes  submitted during the application process (e.g. invoices for cleaners). Evidence of payment is not required at this stage.

Evidence, including valid tax invoices, will be required in relation to the first $15,000 if applicants are seeking funding from $15,000 to $50,000.

To receive funds of between $15,000 to $50,000, applicants will be required to submit evidence of payment of the relevant costs at the time of application.
