REMINDER - Family Day Care Australia 2021 Membership Survey

On 30 November 2021, FDCA members were emailed an invitation to take part in our 2021 Membership Survey.  The email was sent by Survey Matters, an independent research firm that has been engaged to collect responses on behalf of FDCA so that you can be sure that your feedback will remain confidential.

We are inviting members to participate in the survey in order to have your input provided into our 2022-2024 Strategic Plan.

As a member-driven organisation, your contribution to the development of FDCA’s strategic goals and objectives is critical to the delivery of our mission.

By completing our 2021 Membership Survey, you’ll be a part of shaping our future initiatives, events and resources to represent, support and promote our members and the family day care sector across Australia.

Members who complete the survey will also go into the draw to win 1 of 5 free, full registration tickets to the FDCA 2022 National Conference, taking place in Hobart from 15-17 September 2022.

Refresh your QIP for the new year

Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs) assist services in driving continuous improvement under the National Quality Framework (NQF) and are an essential tool for self-assessment and critical reflection.

As the year comes to a close, we encourage our members to take the time to look over their QIP and ensure it accurately identifies and reflects on areas of strength, areas of improvement and a current assessment of your programs and practices.

For support in this process, you may wish to take advantage of ACECQA’s new online modules covering a step-by-step look at a QIP development and review.

To access the new online modules, click here. For additional information on QIPs under the NQF, visit ACECQA’s website here.

FDC Educator Hacks - Exclusive holiday edition!

Keep an eye out for the announcement of a special edition of our FDC Educator Hacks series, on the FDCA Facebook page.

The FDC Educator Hacks series, launched earlier this year, has proved incredibly popular with our members as a way to share easy and affordable activities, programs and ideas linked to the National Quality Standard (NQS).

We’re excited to bring it back one last time for 2021 in celebration of the year that’s been and the year to come!

Entries will open this Friday 10 December 2021, where the theme and prize will be revealed.
