Road Safety Education

Early Learning Association Australia (ELAA) has partnered with Transport Accident Commission (TAC) to deliver the Starting Out Safely program, which encompasses children, families, carers and early childhood educators working together to guide children’s learning in being and becoming safe and independent road users.

They have recently added ‘Embedding Road Safety Education into Curriculum’ for all service types and the ‘Safe Transportation of Children’ PD, which is directly focused on family day care, and those who transport children as part of their service.

Starting Out Safely encourages educators and services to join them online, regardless of location, for these sessions in the hopes of adding to their best practice road safety knowledge.

If you are interested in attending one of these sessions, please visit the Professional Development tab via www.childroadsafety.org.au.
